The Shangani Gold Mine in Zimbabwe, is a mine located in the Insiza District, has a history intertwined with the broader development of nickel mining in the country. It was initially developed by Cluff Gold and began gold production in 1988. The mine and its processing plant were part of a larger complex that included the Trojan Nickel Mine and the Bindura smelter and refinery. The Shangani mine, along with the Trojan mine, played a significant role in Zimbabwe’s nickel production
